1. Acceptance of Terms & Legal Binding
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your entry, dining, beverage consumption, and digital interaction with Black Fox: The Coffee House (“Sanctuary”, “Café”), located at Shop No 20, Asopalav One West, Bhayli Main Road, Besides Adventuraa, Sevasi, Vadodara, Gujarat 391101, operated technologically by Cyber Drift Solutions (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
By visiting our cafe, ordering food or beverages, booking a table, using our Game Cave or Library, or providing your phone number at checkout, you expressly acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Menu Offerings, Sensory Descriptors & In-Store Pricing Supremacy
- Illustrative Nature of Menus: All photos, tasting notes (e.g. “floral jasmine”, “stone fruit vibrance”, “silky microfoam”), Q-scores, and descriptions on our website or social media are artistic guides. Coffee is a living agricultural product. Actual extraction taste profiles and visual presentations will naturally vary with roast dates, humidity, and bean harvests.
- In-Store POS Tax Invoice Supremacy: Web prices reflect standard base rates at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice. THE SOLE BINDING PRICE IS THE FINAL PRICE CALCULATED ON OUR IN-STORE POS TERMINAL AND PRINTED ON YOUR PHYSICAL TAX INVOICE. No customer may demand a price match against website or cached listings.
- Customization Add-On Surcharges: Substitutions carry mandatory surcharges (e.g., Oat Milk +₹70, Almond/Coconut Milk +₹50, Extra Espresso Shot +₹50, The Whole Truth Whey Isolate +₹150).
- Seasonal Microlots & Stockouts: We roast specialty beans in rotation with partner roasters (Savorworks, Araku, Grey Soul, Curious Life, Blue Tokai, Stogus) and local farmers. Specific beans, sourdough bakes, or fresh items may sell out during the day. Website listings do NOT constitute a legal guarantee that an item is in stock at the time of your visit.
3. Open Kitchen Environment & Allergen Advisory
Our open kitchen prepares fresh Italian pastas, Mexican hot pots, sourdough toasts, bagels, burgers, and bakes.
Cross-Contact Advisory: All food and coffee may come into contact with common allergens, including dairy/milk, wheat/gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and eggs. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies MUST verbally inform the barista or floor manager before ordering.
4. The Designer Game Cave Bylaws
- Walk-In Only: The Game Cave (featuring designer games like Catan, Sequence, and curated strategy games) is a complimentary walk-in amenity for active dining patrons. Game tables cannot be reserved via the website.
- Customer Liability for Damage/Loss: Guests are liable for lost game pieces, torn cards, or liquid spills. Black Fox reserves the right to charge guests the full replacement cost for damaged or missing components.
- Supervision of Minors: Designer games contain small pieces that pose choking hazards. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
5. The Cosy Library & Book Nook Rules
All books, Manga, Anime volumes, Fiction, and Non-Fiction on our shelves are for in-cafe reading only and remain the exclusive property of Black Fox. Books may not be borrowed or taken off premises. Stained or torn books will be billed to the patron at full cover price.
6. Friday Live Music & Sports Screenings Disclaimers
- Performance & Broadcast Disclaimers: Acoustic performances and screenings of Formula 1, Cricket, and UFC are subject to performer availability, broadcaster feeds, weather, and cafe discretion. Website mentions do NOT guarantee that an event will take place on any particular date.
- Walk-In Seating: Seating on event nights is strictly walk-in / first-come-first-served. Sound levels adhere to Vadodara municipal noise regulations.
7. Pet-Friendly Cafe Bylaws
Pets must be kept on a leash or in carriers under owner control at all times. Pets are strictly prohibited from food prep counters or dining tables. Pet owners are 100% financially and legally liable for any damage, bites, messes, or disturbances caused by their pets. An emergency sanitization fee of ₹1,000 applies to indoor pet accidents.
8. 100% Plastic-Free Packaging
Black Fox uses zero single-use plastic. All takeaway drinkware, lids, boxes, and cutlery are biodegradable or paper-based. Packaging surcharges apply to takeaway and delivery orders.
9. Coworking, Laptops & Peak-Hour Etiquette
Coworking with active orders is welcomed during off-peak hours. During peak rushes (7:00 PM – 11:30 PM, weekends, event nights), staff may politely ask laptop users to relocate to smaller seats or share communal tables to allow dining parties to be seated.
10. Table Reservations & 15-Minute Grace Period
Booked tables are held for a maximum of 15 minutes past the scheduled arrival time. If the party fails to arrive within 15 minutes, the reservation is automatically cancelled and released to walk-in patrons with zero liability. Game Cave and Friday live music seating are strictly walk-in only.
11. Third-Party Delivery Aggregators (Zomato & Swiggy)
Prices and promotions on Zomato and Swiggy are managed per aggregator guidelines and may diverge from in-cafe prices. Once handed over to third-party delivery couriers, Black Fox is not liable for cold food, courier transit delays, or spilled drinks. Delivery disputes must be filed via the respective app.
12. Operating Hours & Kitchen Last Call
Cafe hours are 09:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight daily. Kitchen orders close strictly at 11:15 PM. Only cold beverages and desserts are served thereafter. Management reserves the right to adjust timings during holidays or emergency closures.
13. Black Card Closed-Loop Prepaid Wallet
The Black Card is a closed-loop stored value instrument valid exclusively within Black Fox. Funds represent non-interest advance deposits against future food and brews. Foxy Points carry zero fiat cash value.
14. Electronic Communications & WhatsApp Receipts
Providing your phone number authorizes delivery of digital tax receipts (ORDER_RECEIPT) and booking notices via Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Reply “STOP” anytime to unsubscribe from optional promotional broadcasts.
15. Sanctuary Etiquette & Right of Admission
Outside food, external beverages, and alcohol are strictly forbidden. Management reserves the absolute right of admission and may refuse service to unruly or abusive individuals.
16. Limitation of Liability & Maximum Direct Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Black Fox disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages. Total aggregate liability for any direct dispute is strictly capped at the actual amount paid on the tax invoice for that specific order.
17. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
